About My Practice
Yoga is for Every Body
After completing my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, I began teaching yoga in 2007. Since then, I have taught more than 4000 hours of yoga, earning the title of Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider through the Yoga Alliance. My clientele has ranged from Ironman athletes to people living with multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy.
I have been blessed to teach at local studios as well as retreats in the US and abroad.
Continuing education has always been very important to me. Training with master teachers such as Tiffany Cruikshank, Aadil Palkhivala and Ray Long have pushed me to be the best teacher I can be.
After years of work and dedication I have completed the training for my 500ERYT and have also received specialty certifications in Restorative, Prenatal Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga and Brain Health. My mission is to share my knowledge with students and teachers through my workshops, teacher training and mentoring programs to help them create a practice that is safe and beneficial. It's my passion to empower others heal themselves.
Yoga 4 Caregivers
As some of you may know, I was a caregiver to my mom during her battle with lung cancer and my dad during his final stage of COPD.
Caregiving can be challenging in so many ways. My yoga tools were a huge help to me during the most challenging years of my life.
I love giving back to the Caregiving community and have been volunteering for a Yoga 4 Caregivers since 2020. We provide free yoga, meditation, stress relief tips, community and support to any caregivers that choose to join. If you are or know anyone who is a caregiver please consider joining or sharing this group.
