About My Practice
Yoga is for Every Body
I'm Ellen, a yoga instructor, coach, and trained social worker with over 17 years of experience in trauma-informed practices. Since earning my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and beginning my yoga journey in 2007, I’ve accumulated over 4,000 teaching hours, earning the titles of Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) and Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) through Yoga Alliance. My diverse clientele has ranged from Ironman athletes to individuals with multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy.

My personal journey, including an eight-month cancer treatment and recovery, has deepened my understanding of resilience and healing. This experience inspires my work empowering individuals to navigate challenges, embrace change, and rediscover joy through yoga, coaching, and community-building.

I lead specialized yoga series, empowering classes, and retreats, supporting caregivers, those grieving, and anyone seeking inner strength and connection. I also mentor yoga instructors, lead teacher trainings, and offer continuing education, sharing practical tools to deepen their practice and teaching.

When I’m not teaching, I’m outdoors exploring Oregon’s beauty, spending time with my family, or immersed in a great book.

Let’s journey together toward healing, empowerment, and a life of purpose and possibility.
